Johns Hopkins Hospital is one of the most familiar and trusted names in health care in the United States in several specialties. The Sidney Kimmel Comprehensive Cancer Center delivers treatment, education, and research across all disciplines of cancer, including immunotherapy and bone marrow transplants.

  1. Dana-Farber/Brigham and Women’s Cancer Center – Score 72.5/100

Located in Boston, the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute has long been a leader in cancer research, education, and treatment accredited to its collaboration with the Women’s Cancer Center. The center provides state-of-the-art care for women and men with breast cancer and is staffed with leading surgeons, oncologists, and radiation oncologists in the field.

Located in Pennsylvania, The University of Pittsburgh Medical Center (UPMC) in Pittsburgh is one of the nation’s most highly ranked hospitals. It provides comprehensive cancer treatments to more than 60 locations with more than 200 medical oncologists working for the institution in both surgical and radiation-based units.

  1. H. Lee Moffitt Cancer Center and Research Institute – Score 71.2/100 (TIE)

Established in 1981, the H. Lee Moffitt Cancer Center and Research Institute is a non-profit and research center in Tampa, Florida. Also providing treatment and patient care, it has quickly risen through the ranks to become one of the most state-of-the-art facilities in the United States that draws patient candidates from all over the country.

  1. Massachusetts General Hospital – Score: 71.2/100 (TIE)

The Massachusetts General Hospital is affiliated with Harvard University – which provides patient care at the Mass General Cancer Center in Boston – also its primary site of research. Patients may have the option to enroll in clinical trials which makes it one of the most innovative cancer hospitals in the nation.

  1. Northwestern Memorial Hospital – Score: 70.4/100

Located in central downtown Chicago, Northwestern Memorial Hospital houses the Robert H. Lurie Comprehensive Cancer Center of Northwestern University. This center specializes in hematopoietic stem cell transplant and precision medicine and is affiliated with several prominent research sites.
